Description:
700 sq/ft two bedroom apartment, separate
living room with open kitchen in 17th century historic
classified building. Sleeps four. Two double beds. Second
floor (3rd American) with no elevator. In the heart of
old Paris, the rue Vauvilliers is a charming short and narrow
street running between the rue St. Honoré and Les Jardins des
Halles.
The apartment is reached by an amazingly
attractive staircase. The living room is comfortably furnished
in an English style. Its well-equipped open kitchen makes it
easy to cook and entertain guests at the same time!
Each of the 2 bedrooms
has a double bed and its own closet space. There is an
all-marble bathroom with bath tub and shower, plus a separate
WC.
All of the rooms retain the original old
wooden beams in the ceiling, lending a captivating charisma to
the apartment. Nevertheless, there are the modern conveniences
one would like: Cable TV (for CNN and BBC World) with a video
player, hi-fi radio/CD player, telephone and answering
machine, washing machine.
Naturally, the
necessary accessories are provided - For the kitchen, a
microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, cutlery and
glassware and plenty of casseroles for cooking. Also, an iron
and ironing board along with a fan for warm weather.
The nearby Jardin des
Halles offers extensive cultivated gardens and lawns and you
can hear the clink of the "boules" from your apartment as
devotees of this traditional French game gather in the evening
setting sun to play nearby. There is also a 50 metre modern
heated swimming pool a few minutes away in the same area - as
well as a score of cinemas, many of which show English
language films. Voila! Everything at your feet! Just a few
hundred yards further is Rue Montorgeuil - a thriving gourmet
food paradise where there is a choice of 5 boulangeries, 4
cheese shops, 3 fishmongers and a host of other tempting
speciality boutiques - as well as a variety of supermarkets
for more mundane items. You'll find everything you've ever
dreamed of…and some things you've never heard of!

credit card, balance taken on departure (in Cheque or Euro

out is 10:00 a.m. or by appointment. Key transfer
arranged directly at the apartment
Cancellation policy: If
cancellation is more than one month prior to arrival, deposit
is non-refundable. If less than one month, there is no
refund. Clients are
strongly recommended to ensure that they have suitable travel
insurance arranged at the time of booking.
